Mitchell Ward

Principal and Co-founder

As a principal and co-founder of LiveOak, Mitchell Ward is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing our investment opportunities in addition to providing legal and financial direction to LiveOak. Since 2018, Mitchell has been responsible for the execution of Mesa Real Estate Partners, LP’s active adult platform operating under the Alders brand name. Prior to joining Mesa, Mitchell was an attorney at Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. where he was a member of one of the largest real estate practice groups in the State of Texas. Mitchell’s practice focused on representing pension funds, publicly-traded REITs and other institutional clients in the implementation of their real estate investment programs, where he was involved in successfully closing over $3 billion of properties across all product types throughout the U.S. Mitchell also represented local and international developers in mixed-use, retail and multi-family projects throughout the development process. Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia and his law degree from the University of Houston.

Zach Wolf

As a principal and co-founder of LiveOak, Zachary Wolf is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing our investment opportunities in addition to providing operational and financial direction to LiveOak. Since 2018, Zachary has been responsible for the execution of Mesa Real Estate Partners, LP’s active adult platform operating under the Alders brand name. Prior to Mesa, Zachary was a Vice President with B29 investments where his primary responsibilities included evaluating and presenting new acquisition opportunities as well as monitoring and providing strategic and financial direction for investments in farm and ranch, mineral, tax consulting, well site accommodations and rentals, and construction businesses. Prior to joining B-29, Zachary was Vice President for an energy-focused industrial real estate fund successfully sold to a REIT for $295mm in 2014. In his role, Zachary was actively involved in the acquisition, financing, and development of over 79 assets. While actively managing the fund, Zachary completed his Master’s in Business Administration at the Jones Graduate School of Business of Rice University. Zachary completed his undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University.
